Uploading a file involves these steps:

Before your event, contact us (upload@cccaudio.com) to get an upload account.
Fill out and submit this form for each message.
Follow the instructions in the "FTP Notes" box to upload the talk.
Send an email to upload@cccaudio.com to notify us that you've uploaded a file.

FTP Notes:	The file to upload should be an .mp3 format file saved at a sample rate of: 32bs/22,050Hz. A one-hour talk will be right around 15mb. Click here to open a FTP browser window. It will ask for a username and password. This will be provided by cccAudio. If unknown, send us an email." Once logged in, you will see a welcome image which you can click on to make sure you are at the right place. As you upload talks, they too shall appear when copied to this directory. Use "My Computer" or a "Windows Explorer" to open a second window to use to upload. Copy the file from the local window to the browser window. In some cases you may be able to drag the file from one to the other. In other cases you will need to copy the file in one window and paste the file into the ftp window. The file should start copying... Please be aware that this can be a very long process and is dependent upon your upload speed. A 20mb file on a broadband upload speed of 300kbs can take up to 15 minutes.

NOTES:

The product number is a special format made up of three parts.

Part 1 is the two digit year (i.e. 07, 08, 09)

Part 2 is a lowercase, three letter code that is provided by cccAudio If you did a similar event last year, you can look at those. (wne = Winter Northeast, cdv= Christmas Denver)

Part 3 is a 2 digit talk number. They typically go in order given with main talks starting at 01 and seminars starting at 20. If you have questions, ask us.
The file name is made up of three parts.

The product number followed by an underscore;

An abbreviated talk title with key words and letters/numbers only. No special characters and no spaces.

The speakers last name in parenthesis.
So as an example, product 02csu03 titled "How to Get Better Grades" by Steve Douglass becomes: 02csu03_Get_Better_Grades(Douglass).mp3.

Overview

This site gives you access to nearly 2000 audio messages that have been recorded as a part of the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Our desire is that listeners will grow closer to God and help others do the same. There are many practical ways to use this content.

You can "redeem the time" by taking in teaching from God's word when you are commuting or doing brainless tasks.
You can review what you learned at a conference to help keep the application of the material fresh in your mind.
You can use the content as a supplement to your teaching in a class or Bible study.
You can give a great message as a gift to encourage someone else.
You can share your faith by giving one of our challenging messages to someone who is seeking spiritual answers.

Content

Some messages were given to small audiences of ten people and others were given at major events numbering in the 1000's. Events include conferences, staff training sessions, evangelistic meetings and other sessions designed to reach people for Christ and help them grow in their faith.

These messages represent the activities of various divisions such as Athletes in Action, FamilyLife, the Campus Ministry, Josh McDowell Ministries and others. Speakers include both employees of the organization and guest speakers who were invited to address the audience on behalf of Campus Crusade. The focus of most messages is to a high school age and older audience.

Formats

We offer audio cassette tapes, Compact Disks (CD's), a CDROM disk in the MP3 format and an MP3 Internet download. Most are sold as single units although we do offer a discounted conference set that typically includes all of the main, plenary sessions from a conference. This set will be listed as an option next to the main sessions which are included on the pack.

We are committed to equipping you with the latest in digital audio products. A recent technology is MP3 CDROM disks where you can receive up to 30 hours of content on one disk. MP3 (MPEG Audio Layer 3) is a compression algorithm developed by the Motion Picture Experts Group. Very generally, the algorithm takes a digital audio file and reduces its size, while maintaining the quality of the recording.

In a standard audio file, there are several frequencies storing audio information. Many of these frequencies are redundant because the human ear cannot perceive them. The MP3 algorithm reduces the size of an audio file using a technique called perceptual audio, intelligently removing only the least audible frequencies. MP3 CDROM's cannot be played in a standard CD player but most computers will play them. If you need more help regarding MP3 format, go to our FAQ page.

How do you ship? Small orders are shippeder via the US Postal Service. Larger orders are shipped via UPS.
Can I return an item? We will refund the cost of any items that are damaged or of poor quality; however, we do not accept returns once a tape or CD has been shipped.
Why do some products only offer one format option? We only list the formats currently available for that message.
Will you eventually have all messages in MP3 format? No, converting old messages from tape to MP3 is a very time consuming project. We will make CD's and MP3's of newer, more popular messages as they are recorded.
How do I download the MP3 file or stream my files? Click on the �Format� tab found at the top of this page.
Why do you charge $1 for MP3 downloads when you don�t actually send me anything? Even though we are not actually sending you a physical product when you purchase an MP3 talk, we do incur some fairly hefty charges for the storage of MP3 files on the server. The $1 charge helps to cover those costs.
